Cyber Security Engineer (Dublin)

• €500-550 per day

A large Irish multinational is seeking a cyber security engineer. The main responsibilities will focus on security controls and security operations.

Responsibilities

Essential

• Significant hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, implementing and managing security controls.
• Practical experience with firewalls, IAM, patch management, remediation, and endpoint protection.
• Experience with the Microsoft security stack, including Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Sentinel.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and VMware/vCenter.
• Good understanding of regulatory and compliance obligations.

Desirable

• Cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience with ISO 27001.
• Experience with SIEM tools.
• Exposure to a SOC environment.
